The Lost Sheep

Once upon a time, there was a kind shepherd who had 100 fluffy sheep. Every day, he led them to green fields, fresh water, and brought them back home safely.

The sheep loved their shepherd. He knew each one by name. He would sing to them, talk to them, and even cuddle the tiny lambs.

But one evening, as the sun was going down, the shepherd counted…

“...97, 98, 99…”
“Oh no! One sheep is missing!”

It was Lulu, the little white lamb. She had wandered off, chasing a butterfly and got lost among the hills.

Even though 99 sheep were safe, the shepherd didn’t say, “Oh well, I still have many.”
Instead, he grabbed his staff, lit his lamp, and ran into the darkness looking for Lulu.

He climbed rocks, crossed streams, and called out:
“Lulu! Where are you?”

Finally, he heard a soft “Baa...” from a bush.

He ran to her, picked her up, and said:
“I found you, my little one!”

He carried her home on his shoulders, and when they got back, he was so happy he told everyone:
“Let’s celebrate! I found my lost sheep!”

💛 What Jesus Said:
Jesus told this story to teach us that God loves each of us very much.

Even if we feel lost or make mistakes, He will always look for us, care for us, and bring us back safely.
