The Boy Who Shared His Lunch

One sunny day, a big crowd of people came to a hillside to hear Jesus speak. There were so many people — more than five thousand!
They listened to Jesus all day. The children sat quietly, the moms and dads listened carefully, and even the birds seemed to stop and hear.
But as the sun began to set, the people were very hungry.
There were no shops, no food stalls, and no lunchboxes—except for one little boy.

This boy had brought a small lunch from home:
🍞 Five small loaves of bread and 🐟 two tiny fish.
When the disciples asked if anyone had food, the boy raised his hand and said,
"You can have mine!"
The disciples were surprised. “This is so small! What good can it do?”
But Jesus smiled and said,
"Bring it to me."
Jesus took the little lunch, looked up to heaven, and gave thanks. Then He started breaking the bread and fish...
And something amazing happened.
The food didn’t run out — it multiplied! More and more and more!
Soon, everyone in the crowd had plenty to eat. When they were full, the disciples collected leftovers — 12 full baskets of food!
💛 The Lesson:
Even if you’re small, or what you have feels small, when you give it to Jesus, He can do something big!
📖 Bible Verse:
